This App tries to be as accurate as possible in the information it provides to you the user, however, there are times when the location information your device receives is considerably slower than your speed - e.g. when in a car. This results in gaps in the information shown. If you slow down, you should see more accurate tracking. This is a limitation of using the device GPS.
What is Gpx format and can I export my track as Gpx? Gpx format is used by modern GPS systems. You can export your Track as Gpx and load that in to a GPS if required and vice-versa. Can I import a Gpx track in to the App? Yes definitely, you can download a Gpx file using your mobile browser either in to the Downloads/GpxFiles folder on your device or an equivalent that you have created when requested by the App - then view the Gpx file in a map view using the 'Load GPX File' menu option. The Gpx file will appear as a blue line. You will need to give explicit permission for the App to access the GpxFiles folder or equivalent. You should then be able to Search for and list/view the Files on the Map. Recent security enhancements to Android require the user to allow access to the specific directory containing the Gpx Files. Why do I get asked either to select and authorise or 'Create A Folder' when I try and use the Apps Gpx create or load facility? Android is very fussy about security and needs your permission to write or read files (Gpx files in our case) to any external folder on the device. If you are asked to 'Create New Folder' - do this and call it 'GpxFiles'. This is where you will place and load Gpx files that the App will use. When I load a Gpx file and View it, the Map, after a short while, shows my current Location? Switch off Auto Map Centering if you don't want this to happen. Its the Switch on the Bottom/Left on the main screen. Where can I get support for this App? Please contact the developer directly through the Google Play Store. Please supply the Android Version / Device type if reporting an issue along with a way of reproducing the issue. Thanks.
